Clyde Carson Moore was born on February 24, 1919. Wilmington North Carolina was his home and enlistment state in New Hanover County. He had enlisted in the United States Navy. Served during World War II. Moore had the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. His military occupation or specialty was Radioman Second Class. Attached to USS Shaw. During his service in World War II, Navy Petty Officer Second Class Moore experienced a traumatic event which ultimately resulted in loss of life on December 7, 1941. Clyde Carson Moore was born and raised in North Carolina. He was the son of Julius R Moore and Ina Mae Hodges. He graduated from New Hanover High School in 1937 and enlisted in the US Navy soon after. He was married to Maye Moore. Clyde Carson Moore is buried or memorialized at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, St Louis County, Missouri.
