Williams, Ronald

Ronald a graduate of New Hanover High School studied fine arts at the Art Students League and received his degree in art from Parson’s School of Design, both in New York City.

He is recognized as one of the south’s leading commission artist featuring techniques in pen and ink drawing and water color paintings.

Williams is best known for his ability to capture a mood in architecture, homes, boats, seascapes and landscapes.  His interests are obvious through his artwork; history, architecture and coastal living.  Many of his paintings capture these interests; lighthouses, boats and several Cape Fear icons such as historic homes, Johnny Mercer’s pier, and The Ice House.  He has captured the emotions of coastal living from Virginia to Florida including Wilmington, NC, Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA and St. Augustine, FL.
