Lennon, Alton Asa

Class of 1925

Born August 17, 1906 graduated from New Hanover High School.

 

Lennon was admitted to the bar in 1929 after graduating from Wake Forest College.

He served as the judge of New Hanover County Recorder’s Court.  Lennon was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives’ 7th district and served 4 years in the North Carolina State Senate.


Mission

New Hanover High School Alumni Organization mission is to establish and enhance alumni relations within the New Hanover High School community and to promote education and historical preservation.
